Alaska 2018, Day 9-10

Heading to Dawson Creek, the beginning of the Alaska Highway.

Got up early in the campsite, but the shower/washroom was closed overnight until 8am!! Have not seen that in a campsites!

Packing and leaving

Crossing into BC

And finally Dawson Creek, the beginning of the Alaska Highway.  From here, there will be 2350km to Fairbank Alaska.

And the actual mile 0 of the highway

Now the next chapter starts,

On a gas station I met 4 guys from Washington state on KTM bikes that were going to Tuktoyaktuk.

There is a rain downpour warning from “theweathernetwork” so I got a Motel in Fort Nelson,  the next town is too far to go for tonight.  I got to park the bike under the roof as well.

Since the forecast was extending until Tuesday morning, I decided to stay for two nights, but until writing this page at 4:30pm, I have not seen any serious rain and wind!
I think TheWeatherNetwork is over exaggerate their forecast 🙁

At least I got to sort out the photos and post the first 9 days of the trip.
